- Maruti Suzuki's festive season success.
- Targeting 50,000 deliveries.
Maruti Suzuki, a leader in the Indian car market, is poised for significant success this Dhanteras. The company aims to deliver 50,000 vehicles during the festival period. As of Saturday evening, nearly 38,500 vehicles had already been delivered. According to Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales) at Maruti Suzuki, it is anticipated that deliveries may reach around 41,000 by the end of Saturday, with total deliveries estimated at 51,000 vehicles. This marks an increase of 10,000 compared to the previous year’s 41,000 deliveries.
This year's Dhanteras runs from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Although some customers hesitated to make purchases on Saturday, overall feedback has been incredibly positive. The company attributes the surge in demand to GST reforms. Since Maruti Suzuki reduced its prices, the company received 450,000 bookings. Retail sales have already surpassed 325,000 during this festive season, indicating a 50% growth compared to last year.
