New Delhi: Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai has announced a significant investment of ₹15,000 crore for India’s first Artificial Intelligence Hub, aligning with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” vision.
Pichai provided details about the AI hub set to be developed in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, during an event in Delhi, attended by IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, and IT Minister N. Lokesh.

Data centers are becoming essential due to the need for cloud services, digital platforms, massive computing power, and low-latency connectivity.

The five-year plan (2026–2030) is expected to create over 100,000 jobs, as stated by Civil Aviation Minister N. Ram Mohan Naidu.
This center will be developed in collaboration with AdaniConneX and Airtel. As part of this initiative, Google will construct new international submarine cables in Visakhapatnam, enhancing India’s internet capabilities and complementing existing gateways in Mumbai and Chennai.
