Star Indian cricketer KL Rahul has added another luxury vehicle to his collection. In a recent viral video, he can be seen purchasing his new MG M9 electric MPV. Notably, Rahul is the first Indian cricketer to acquire this MG M9 model. JSW MG Motor India has launched this feature-rich MPV under its ‘MG Select’ line in the Indian market. The electric vehicle features spacious interiors and is available in a single variant with three color options.
The price of the MG M9 is ₹73.75 lakhs (on-road) and it is offered in a single trim. The available colors include Metal Black, Pearl Lustre White (with black roof), and Concrete Grey (with black roof). Rahul opted for the Metal Black shade. The MG M9 combines luxury and technology, with highlighted second-row seats featuring independent ottoman seats that include massage, ventilation, heating functions, and rear seat entertainment options.
Additionally, the front includes a digital instrument cluster, multiple driving modes, regen braking modes, and an electronic parking brake. For safety, it comes with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and Level-2 ADAS technology. The MG M9 is equipped with a 90kWh NMC battery, which the company claims offers a range of up to 548 kilometers on a single charge. The electric motor produces 243 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.
