Bollywood actor Salman Khan shared his struggles with a neurological condition that led him to contemplate suicide. He discussed his experience with this condition, noting that it required significant time for him to even eat.
The first signs of the illness appeared in 2007 on the set of the film ‘Partner.’ During a scene, actor Lara Dutta accidentally injured his face, causing him severe pain. Initially, he thought it was a dental problem. However, a visit to the hospital revealed it was related to his nerves. He described the pain as so intense that he wouldn’t wish it on his worst enemy, and he noted that such pain often drives people to suicide. He admitted to experiencing those thoughts himself while enduring this suffering for over seven years.
This pain severely impacted his daily life, as he would feel discomfort every 4-5 minutes. Eating took him over an hour because of the pain, making it difficult for him to function. Eventually, he underwent gamma knife surgery, which lasted eight hours. He mentioned that the pain has since reduced.
