The Powerball jackpot soared to an estimated $750 million for Monday’s drawing, securing its place among the game’s top 10 largest prizes ever after no tickets matched all winning numbers on Saturday night.

The massive prize, which now has a cash value of $338.6 million before taxes, marks the 37th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner since a California player claimed the grand prize on May 31.

While the jackpot remained unclaimed on Saturday, the drawing produced several significant winners. Two tickets — sold in Maine and New York — matched all five white balls to win $1 million each. A South Dakota player who added the Power Play option doubled their five-number match to $2 million.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 11, 14, 34, 47, 51, and red Powerball 18.

“The excitement of playing for a colossal Powerball jackpot is back!” Matt Strawn, Powerball product group chair and Iowa Lottery CEO, said in a statement.

The current jackpot ranks as the 10th-largest in Powerball history, joining a list topped by the record-breaking $2.04 billion prize won in California in November 2022.

The game’s other huge payouts include a $1.765 billion prize claimed in California last October, a $1.586 billion jackpot split between winners in California, Florida and Tennessee in January 2016, and a $1.326 billion prize won in Oregon earlier this year in April. Only nine other Powerball jackpots have exceeded the current estimated prize in the game’s history.

Players can purchase $2 tickets in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
